Financial support measure

Subsidizing part of the loan interest rate through DAMU EDF JSC.

Requirements for obtaining grants

The applicant’s project must have potential for energy saving and CO2 greenhouse gas emission reduction.

The minimum level of energy saving:

15% in sectors A-E.

45% in sector F.

Maximum funding rate

Loan interest rate to be subsidized:
no more than 19%.

Subsidy amount

10% of the loan interest rate.

Loan amount

no more than 350,000,000 KZT.

Loans shall be provided only in KZT.

Subsidy period

3 years, with possibility of prolongation up to 6 years.

Urban infrastructure sectors

(A) Urban heat supply;

(B) Urban water supply;

(C) Public buildings;

(D) Multi-apartment buildings;

(E) Urban wastewater treatment systems;

(F) Street and interior lighting;

(G) Other sectors of urban infrastructure by a decision of the PMC.

Implementers of low carbon city project are:

Owner of a facility (building, engineering network and system, energy production source, etc.) with at least 2 years of experience in providing energy services;

Specialized service (energy service) company.
