Informing the depositors of “Qazaq Banki” JSC, who have not applied for the guaranteed compensation payment, about the date of completion of the guaranteed compensation payment
The Bank hereby informs the depositors of “Qazaq Banki” JSC that the deadline for payment of the guaranteed compensation is May 1, 2022.
Upon that, if the depositor fails to apply for the payment of the guaranteed compensation before the end of the above deadline, the unclaimed amount of the guaranteed compensation shall be transferred by the "Kazakhstan Deposit Insurance Fund" JSC (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) to the "Single accumulative pension fund" JSC to the individual pension account for recording voluntary pension contributions, opened in the name of the depositor in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the pension maintenance.
We would like to remind you that the state guarantee for all deposits and bank accounts per depositor in each of the banks is:
- up to 20 million KZT inclusive – for savings deposits in national currency,
- up to 10 million KZT inclusive – for deposits in national currency,
- up to 5 million KZT inclusive – for deposits in foreign currency (in equivalent, at the exchange rate fixed on the date of entry into legal force of the court decision on the compulsory liquidation of the participating bank).
If a depositor has two or more deposits placed with the same bank at the same time both in KZT and foreign currency, guaranteed compensation for up to 20 million KZTs inclusive shall be paid.
