VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) has opened the first universal department – Almaty Branch

The Almaty Branch has opened the doors for guests and dweller of the south capital at the address: 39 “a”, Gogol St. Banking services will be rendered to corporate and private customers over the area of approximately 400 sq. meters. The Branch offers the following services:  processing of deposits, loans granting, transfer of funds, cash settlement and swaps transactions.

Opening of the Almaty Branch is the first stage of the major project of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) with respect to expansion of the branch network in the Republic.

A guest of honor of the opening ceremony was the Akim of Medeuskiy District Mr. M.B. Beidali cutting the ribbon together with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Subsidiary  VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) JSC Mr. Ye.A. Nemerinskiy.

VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) is a subsidiary of the largest Russian financial organization VTB Bank OJSC, the major shareholder of which is the Government of the Russian Federation. The Bank has been established to support the traditionally friendly, business and partnership turnover between Russia and Kazakhstan. VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) obtained the License of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Financial Supervision on the 22nd of May 2009, has proceeded the work since the 1st of July, 2009 and specialized in servicing of legal entities. Opening of the Branch in Almaty is the first step with respect to development of retail direction of the Bank’s activities. The Authorized Capital Stock of the subsidiary bank is 9 milliard tenge. Before the year 2010 is out the Bank is going to open 2 departments in Almaty and 6 branches in the cities: Astana, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Karaganda, Aktobe, Pavlodar and Atyrau.
