Since the beginning of 2014 mortgage portfolio of individuals of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) has increased by 15%

07.08.2014 Following the results of the first half-year of 2014, mortgage portfolio of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) has increased by 15%. The volume of mortgage loans in the total amount of issued loans has amounted to - 8%. The average loan amount for today is about - 9 million tenge.

Dmitry Yakovlev, Deputy Chairman of the Board – Member of the Board of Subsidiary JSC VTB Bank (Kazakhstan): «In 2014, VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) continues to demonstrate a positive trend in the mortgage market. In March, growth of mortgage loan portfolio in comparison with the same period of 2013 has amounted to – 12,4%, today this indicator has increased by 2,6%. Basically Kazakhs purchase secondary real estate in Astana, Almaty, Kostanay, Pavlodar and Semey».

Kazakhstani subsidiary VTB Bank has launched mortgage lending in 2011. Within a short period, the Bank has demonstrated a positive trend: mortgage portfolio has reached 5 billion tenge, which means public confidence in the Bank.

VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) offers loans for purchase of residential or commercial real estate in KZT and USD. Maximum loan amount - up to 120 million tenge, maximum term - 20 years.
