VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) became a nominee of HR Brand Kazakhstan 2015 Award

HR Brand Kazakhstan 2015 awards ceremony took place in Almaty. The most responsible employers of the country introduced their best projects on HR management to the jury. This year 23 companies applied for participation, including VTB Bank (Kazakhstan), which participated in the contest for the first time. According to the organizers, every year the nominees demonstrate more updated and contemporary approaches in the area of HR management.

The award debutant – VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) – introduced Mentorship project. This unique system for university graduates not only opens the way for students to the professional community, but also gives the opportunity to adapt to the new, adult life as soon as possible. The presentation of Mentorship project, performed by VTB Bank employees in the cities of Kazakhstan, was attended by over 350 students and graduates; 250 of them took part in the testing, 50 of which became the employees of our Bank.

- Mentorship project was introduced in the universities throughout the Republic. It gave the opportunity for young, talented and ambitious professionals to show their worth and to their career in cooperation with high professional team of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan). Thanks to our program, 50 students, graduates of various universities of the country received a start in life. The mentors among the Bank employees shared their experience and knowledge to the young generation - said the Advisor of the Chairman of Board of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) Alla Ponomareva. - This year we were the nominees in the category “Kazakhstan” and, unfortunately, we lost a bit to other projects by numeric coverage. Nevertheless, we have already launched a new round of Mentorship program, having significantly increased the scale of its implementation. Within the next year, we plan to visit more than 50 universities in all the cities where the Bank operates. I think we will stand to receive the award next year.
