VTB Group will carry out additional capitalization of subsidiary bank in Kazakhstan

On November 25, 2015 VTB Bank - the sole shareholder of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) –took a decision regarding additional capitalization of subsidiary organization in Kazakhstan. Additional capitalization will be carried out through additional issue of the Bank's common shares in the amount of 735 700 pieces with face value of 10 000 tenge each. As a result, the total number of declared common shares of the bank will amount to 2 735 700 pieces.

"Despite the turbulence, which is observed on the market, we are increasing capital of VTB (Kazakhstan) by 7.3 billion tenge (24 million dollars). This decision was dictated by, above all, development prospects and the requirements of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan to capital. In addition, the parent bank VTB will provide to its Kazakhstan "daughter" a subordinated credit. Thus, the capital will be cumulatively increased by the amount of around 40 million dollars," - said the Senior Vice President, head of Subsidiaries VTB Bank department Mikhail Yakunin.

The Group expects to complete the necessary corporate procedures for increasing the capital of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) by the end of 2015.
