On November 27, 2015 the credit ratings service of the Standard & Poor's international rating agency confirmed the long-term and short-term credit ratings “BB/B” for VTB Bank (Kazakhstan).
The Standard & Poor's Agency noted: "in our view, the VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) will remain strategically very important subsidiary structure of VTB Bank and will continue to receive operational, managerial and financial support on its part in almost all foreseeable circumstances. In this regard, we confirm the bank's ratings on the international scale at the current level”.
At the same time Standard & Poor's downgraded the rating of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) on the national scale from "kzA+" to "kzA".
The assigned rating corresponds to the financial institution’s performance results for the first 9 months of the current year. At present time, subsidiary VTB bank in Kazakhstan continues to actively improve its infrastructure, IT-systems and to expand the product line.
