Adjustments of the name of Subsidiary VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) in the list of companies subject to the sectoral sanctions imposed by the USA shall not result in any changes to the sanctions effective from September, 2014 against Bank VTB (Public Joint Stock Company) and its subsidiaries.
Bank VTB (Kazakhstan) continues to function as usual maintaining high level of liquidity and capital. The situation related to adjustment of specific companies in the list of sanctions does not require from VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) to take alternative decisions as the sanctions imposed earlier limit attraction of funds from the USA, namely obtaining of credits, placement of bonds and shares in the territory of the USA.
The Bank attracts major amount of money inside the country and it is supported by the parent company - VTB Bank (Public Joint Stock Company). To the end of 2015 capital of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) will be increased by 7.3 billion tenge (24 million dollars). In addition to this, the primary VTB bank will provide a subordinated loan to its subsidiary in Kazakhstan. Therefore, in total, capital of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) will be increased by about 40 million dollars.
The Bank fulfils its obligations to its customers and announces that customers of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan), both individuals and legal entities, will not suffer in any way from extension of the term of sanctions imposed by the USA against VTB Bank (Public Joint Stock Company) and its subsidiaries.
