The process of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) capitalization is completed

On December 31, 2015, VTB Bank PJSC - the sole shareholder of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan provided the Subsidiary a subordinated loan in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles, that amounted to 26.42% of company equity capital.

Thus, the process of Subsidiary VTB in Kazakhstan recapitalization is completed. At the moment, the bank’s regulatory equity capital amounts to more than 30 billion tenge.

- We completed the process of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) capitalization. Through capital infusions of the parent company, the aggregate bank capital was increased by 40 million dollars. These actions are stipulated by Subsidiary VTB Bank JSC support program and expansion of interests for presence in Kazakhstan market. Funds received under the subordinated debt will be used to increase the regulatory equity capital and business development, - said VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) Management Board Chairman Dmitry Zabello.  

Earlier, VTB Bank PJSC - the sole shareholder of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) additionally capitalized the subsidiary bank in Kazakhstan in the amount of 7.3 billion tenge (24 million dollars).
