VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) launched the direct settlements in Russian rubles.

This offer will allow the Bank payment cardholders with account in Russian rubles to make direct payments in the Russian Federation without costs for currency conversion.

A new product of the Bank will be interesting for the clients, who frequently visit the Russian Federation, now they don't need to spend money on currency conversion upon currency exchange and they do not need to take with them large amounts of money in cash. Moreover, taking into account the possibility of service in VTB Bank ATMs in the Russian Federation under domestic tariffs, opening the card in VTB Bank Kazakhstan became doubly attractive," the Director of the Retail Business Development Department of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) Dinara Zhakenova says.

Usually when using payment cards the settlements with the VISA International payment system are made in United States dollars, i.e. upon making a transaction first converting into United States dollars is made, even if the account is opened in rubles, and only then into rubles. Now the clients can be serviced without currency conversion.
