As of December 31, 2017, the assets of the Bank amounted to 153 bln tenge. The authorized capital of the Bank remained constant and amounts to 27.3 bln tenge. The net profit of the Bank amounted to 1.8 bln tenge.
The liabilities of the Bank have reduced by 19% for the reporting period, and amounted to 136 bln tenge. The loan portfolio of the Bank before impairment allowance amounted to 81.6 bln tenge, among them 38% - commercial lending, 20% - small business lending, 36% - consumer lending and 6% - mortgage.
- The previous year became a launch period of implementation of new three-year development strategy for VTB Bank in Kazakhstan. The staff of the Bank made every effort to fulfil the plans, which resulted in the obtaining of profit. We have increased retail sales by more than half for the year. The large investment business of the Bank showed a good growth dynamics, having reduced NPL90+ volumes by 80%, having fulfilled the net interest income plan by 256% and loan portfolio plan by 106%. SME transformation has been also commenced, in 2017 small business was into the business line "Medium business", and the process of optimization of business process in this sector has been launched, - the Chairperson of the Management Board of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) Dmitry Zabello has said.
To date, according to data of S&P Global Ratings, VTB (Kazakhstan) has one of the highest credit ratings among the second-tier banks in Kazakhstan.
