All current Visa/Mastercard holders who have previously connected to the Verified by Visa/Mastercard SecureCode service will also be provided with an Internet access for payment of goods/services.
Let us remind you that the basis for the security system of the Verified by Visa/Masterсard SecureCode service is the 3-D Secure technology which allows identifying a Visa/Masterсard holder in the process of Internet payments with the use of an additional password known to the card holder only. The 3-D Secure technology is an XML protocol used as an advanced level of security for payment cards which applies a two-factor user authentication. This technology provides increased security in the process of payment for goods (works, services) on payment cards in the Internet.
