The Bank has signed a loan agreement with the DAMU Fund and the capital akimat for participation in the Astana small and medium-sized businesses regional funding program – “Astana Business 2” to the amount of 300 million KZT, of which 100 million KZT is allocated by the city akimat, and 200 million KZT – by the Fund.
Within the framework of this program, the VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) will provide preferential loans to burgeoning and active businessmen of the capital at nominal interest rate of up to 8.5% per annum.
- The VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) together with the "Damu" Entrepreneurship Development Fund has already implemented a lot of projects providing serious support to the SME sector, Chairperson of the VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) Management Board Dmitry Zabello says. – In 2017 we successfully assimilated funds allocated to the Bank for funding the capital business within the framework of the first program “Astana-business”. Seven clients have been funded to the total amount of 200 million KZT. Previously we could provide loans only on for development of priority sectors; there are no any such restrictions within the framework of the "Astana Business 2" program.
The entrepreneurs working on the market for more than three years will be able to get a loan from the VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) under the “Astana Business 2” program to the maximum amount of up to 100 million KZT; the burgeoning businessmen registered less than three years ago - up to 50 million KZT.
