On August 20, 2019, the specialized tender on placement of two-year bonds of the Subsidiary VTB Bank JSC (Kazakhstan) was held in the Trading system of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). The supply-demand ratio amounted to 115.7%. In total 7 bids from 4 bidders in the amount of 4 874 730 000 tenge were satisfied. The bond yield for the buyer will be 10.42% per annum.
According to the data of the “Central Securities Depository” JSC (Almaty), the transactions on this placement have been performed by the end date of tender settlement. Herewith, 34.6% of the attraction amount was purchased by second-tier banks, 0.5% - by broker-dealer organizations, 64.9% - by other institutional investors.
- Mr. Yuri Mironov, the Deputy Chairman and the Member of the Management Board of VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) has stated the following: “VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) is an active bidder at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange. The successful bond placement indicates the interest and the high level of trust in the Bank on the part of financial market participants. Following the results of this tender, we have received the stable funding at attractive return. The Bank is intended to allocate these funds for granting profitable, competitive loans to our customers.”
According to the independent assessment of the S&P International Agency, VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) has one of the highest credit ratings among Kazakhstan banks - “BB + / B”, forecast is stable.
