VTB Bank, Subsidiary VTB Bank JSC (Kazakhstan) and KazTransGas company have entered the Facility Agreement

VTB Bank, VTB Bank JSC (Kazakhstan) and KazTransGas JSC signed the Facility Agreement on attracting a loan in Russian rubles for a total amount of $ 200 million for a period of three years.

The funds will be used to refinance liabilities provided by ING Bank, Citibank N.A., Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc., Société Générale and Mizuho Bank Ltd. in 2018.

Refinancing of the loan will allow KazTransGas JSC to raise funds on more favorable terms and significantly reduce currency risks in the current volatile context in the global capital markets.

Signing of this agreement with VTB Group indicates a high assessment of the credit reliability and investment attractiveness of the gas industry in Kazakhstan, and is also of great importance for the development of partnership relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
