VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) provides deferral of payments on loans for businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) continues to support its customers – individual entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized businesses, whose financial condition deteriorated as a result of the quarantine restrictions.

Deferral of payments under bank loan agreements issued for entrepreneurial purposes can be obtained by:

1) micro and small business entities, including individual entrepreneurs – if the business entity carries out activities in the industries specified in the list of industries according to the annex;

2) medium business entities, including individual entrepreneurs – in case of deterioration of the financial condition of the entity due to the restrictive quarantine measures. In this case, the deterioration of the financial condition must be confirmed, for this purpose, the Bank shall carry out an analysis of the actual incomes of the borrower and assess the impact of the imposed restrictive quarantine measures on the business activities of the borrower.

You can apply for a deferral only for the bank loans granted before April 1, 2021. The Bank makes a decision based on the borrower's application drawn up in free form and submitted at any time within the period from April 1 to June 30, 2021.

At the borrower's option, the Bank grants a grace period of 30 to 90 days, unless another period is specified in the borrower's application. The Bank may refuse to grant a deferral in the absence of evidence of deterioration of the financial condition of the borrower.

The Bank does not charge borrowers any commission fees or other fees for reviewing an application and amending bank loan and/or pledge agreements and other related agreements when granting a deferral.
