Attention: New Criminal Law Provisions on Cyber Fraud!

Dear customers!

Starting in September 2025, new provisions of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning internet fraud and cybercrime will take effect.

According to the rules, illegal provision or transfer for use to a third party, as well as acquisition by a third party of access to a bank account or other payment instrument (including a bank card), or implementation of illegal payments and transfers, may result in criminal punishment. Even if you were unaware of the fraudulent plans, you could still be considered an accomplice.

How to protect yourself:

• Never disclose your payment card details, bank details, and other payment instruments, identification means, including SMS codes, as well as passwords and access codes to unauthorized persons;
• Do not transfer money at the request of strangers or suspicious individuals;
• If you receive an unexpected transfer or request for a refund, contact your bank immediately.
